Birth and Nationality: Hossein Vafaei Ayouri (حسین وفائی ایوری), born September 14, 1994, is an Iranian professional <a href="https://www.wikiwhat.page/kavramlar/snooker%20player">snooker player</a>. He is the first Iranian snooker player to turn professional.
Early Career: Vafaei showed exceptional talent from a young age. He won the 2011 IBSF World Under-21 Snooker Championship at the age of 17. He was then given a spot to the main tour for two seasons but was unable to secure a visa and lost his tour spot.
Professional Career: He regained his place on the professional snooker tour in 2014. Vafaei has steadily climbed the rankings.
Achievements: His most significant achievements include winning the 2022 <a href="https://www.wikiwhat.page/kavramlar/Snooker%20Shoot%20Out">Snooker Shoot Out</a>, becoming the first Iranian to win a professional ranking title. He has also reached the semi-finals of the 2023 World Open.
